Who we are
One of the things that took us such a long time to decide on was what to label ourselves when we launch this site.
What kind of photographers are we, really? What should we call ourselves? As we checked out other photography portfolios, we were so convinced that we had to put at least something before the word “photographers” to identify ourselves and what we do. But now that we think about it, we’ve come to realize that the more important question is, “Why are we photographers?” Why do we really do what we do?
Photography has given us the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of finding new ways of seeing things. It allows us to discover how interesting, intricate and awesome God’s creation is, how He has crafted every detail so wonderfully.
It continues to give us a window through which we see what it’s like to live in the different ends of the social spectrum, from the simplest to the most extravagant, appreciating how colorful and diverse everyone is. It has made the most mundane beautiful to our eyes, and even strangest of things so meaningful. Through it, we experience life like everyday is a milestone with power to immortalize irreplaceable moments. It gives us the ability to capture more than what is or was visible and tangible, like emotions that photographs carry and make memories what they are – priceless. It is one of the things that brought us together, and continues to bring us together.
So until we find an adjective to put before the word “photographers” – please allow us to share to you the world we’ve captured through our lenses. Besides, the joy of being able to share this to you guys is just one of the many perks of this job.
